Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. Community National Bank has no affiliates.
Non‑Affiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. Community National Bank does not share with non-affiliates so they can market to you.
Joint Marketing A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Community National Bank doesn't jointly market.
Other Important Information
For Alaska, Illinois, Maryland and North Dakota Customers. We will not share personal information with nonaffiliates either for them to market to you or for join marketing - without your authorization.
For California Customers. We will not share personal information with nonaffiliates either for them to market to you or for join marketing - without your authorization.  We will also limit our sharing of personal information about you with our affiliates to comply with all California privacy laws that apply to us.
For Massachusetts, Mississippi and New Jersey Customers. We will not share personal information from deposit or share relationships with nonaffiliates either for them to market to you or for joint marketing - without your authorization.
For Vermont Customers. We will not share personal information with nonaffiliates either for them to market to you or for joint marketing - without your authorization, and we will not share personal information with affiliates about your creditworthiness without your authorization.

Community National Bank will not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our financial family for their independent use unless:

  1. You request or authorize it; or
  2. The information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; or
  3. The information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency; or
  4. The unaffiliated company is under contract with Community National Bank to assist us in providing our products and services to our customers, or
  5. The disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or required.

How to tell us not to share information

If you would rather not receive new products and services offered by members of the Community National Bank financial family, other than inserts in your monthly or Quarterly statements, we will be glad to comply. To request your name be deleted from any future mail or telephone solicitations or you would like to tell us not to share personal credit information, simply call or write to us at the telephone number or address listed on your account statement.

Security Procedures to protect your information

Only authorized staff of Community National Bank will have access to your personal information. Security procedures have been designed and implemented to prevent unauthorized access to confidential information. Computer hardware and software is updated and tested regularly to maintain a secure environment.  If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy practices described in this notice.

Occasionally, we provide links on our website to other internet sites as a convenience to you. Community National Bank will only link to sites that uphold our corporate standards. However, we are not responsible for the content of those sites, nor their policies for the collection of customer information.
